End-of-Life Secondary Battery Processing

End-of-Life Battery Transportation

  • End-of-life secondary batteries pose a fire and explosion risk even from minor impacts; however, domestic transportation standards and safety protocols for such batteries are currently nonexistent, and incidents of fire and explosion are occurring with increasing frequency, making this a significant social concern.
  • Through an SME commercialization support project funded by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI), we have successfully developed a battery transport system that meets European safety standards.

Core Competency

Designed for fire prevention and vibration control, this specialized container enables the safe transport of high-risk end-of-life batteries.
